The Adventure of Amour

Welcome to the fantastic little part of the interwebs claimed by Garret and Mystie! What started as a website for our wedding planning has turned into a sort of family blog / travelogue / adventure-relaying-mechanism.

The Trip!

We are heading around the world for eight months or so starting in December. The exact itinerary is being shaped up as we go ... our free-spirited natures are directing us towards a fairly open-ended trip, and we are quite happy with that.

You can read more about what we are going to do here. We will also be putting up some information about how you can best support us if you are interested. There is also a distinct possibility that you will be able to pre-order a coffee table photobook and travelogue. More on that later

Hire Us!

We are looking for ways to both fund the trip and connect more with the people of various countries. If you think that you might have a job, connection, or hot tip for us, please let us know. Working is a great way to interact with locals, and we would love to find ways to make that happen. Garret has skills in web development, writing, photography, and web design, while Mystie is a certified Massage Therapist, artist, educator, and talented writer.

We are both interested in jobs that pay money and jobs that provide us with interesting opportunities ... can't pay, but can get us involved with something really neat? Let's talk! Only can afford a place for us to rest our heads and a warm meal? Sounds great! We will provide a contact form for you soon.

Also, Garret is looking for connections to hospitals, telehealth programs, and people who want to talk about healthcare throughout this entire trip. Local opinions, community thoughts, concerns, and successes are all fascinating to Garret, and he would enjoy a chance to talk with anyone who is willing.

Be Entertained!

This site is going to have a ton of content as time goes on. We will be creating music while we travel, writing, and a lot of drawing and artwork. Additionally, the whole photo thing will be happening, so keep the peepers peeled and be ready for a lot of fun stuff from the both of us. Mystie is starting up some ideas for a comic, and Garret is plotting a few photo projects that look at health care around the world (he just can't leave the telemedicine thing alone!).
